Ever managed to style your hair to perfection only to walk out the door and have it immediately frizz up, thanks to the gross weather? Yeah, we've all been there too. Luckily, a cool new beauty app could help you solve that problem!
The web app How's Your Hair offers users a "hair forecast" based on where you live. All you have to do is type in the name of your city and the app will pull up factors like the percentage of humidity and wind levels to expect the following day. It'll then make hair style suggestions accordingly. Sounds pretty great, right?

The creator Gab White was inspired to create the app by her own hair. "As someone who has spent years of her life oscillating between embracing my curly hair to the point of abandoning my hair dryer versus beating my curly hair into submission with a high-power hair dryer and industrial strength flat iron–a lot of my good hair days depend on the weather conditions," she said. I think every woman can relate to that!

Of course, you can find the weather forecast in a bunch of places. But what you won't get there that you WILL find on this app? The hilarious commentary! One such example? "The wind is blowing 0km/hour, just enough to make your hair look like you're Beyonce standing in front of a medium power fan." Ha!
Personally, I love the idea of this app. I can't count how many times I've straightened my hair only to walk outside and have it start pouring ten minutes later … even though it looked bright and sunny only moments before! Plus, if anything, it gives me consolation that I'm not the only one battling with my locks every day.
But this isn't the only awesome app for beauty lovers out there! Check out some other beauty apps you should try out, below:
