So what made me consider going under the self-editing knife? Well it all started after I noticed how incredibly gorgeous my sister's Instagram selfies were. Don't get me wrong, my sister is beautiful and all, but she definitely wasn't born with turquoise green eyes. So I asked her what Instagram filter she had been using to make her naturally green eyes look so much lighter and brighter. "No instagram filters," she said. "Just photo-editing apps, but shhh." Unfortunately, for her I just had to spill the beans to my lovely readers and now her secret is out!
The good news is you can use some of these free (yes FREE) apps to make your selfies look picture perfect. I'm telling you, girl, you can do everything from smooth out your complexion, brighten your skin, erase pesky manchas, lighten your eyes and even resize your nose. The possibilities are endless. Perfect for the girl who doesn't have time to take a zillion selfies of herself until she reaches the perfect one!

Ummm … who says you have to wear makeup to take a perfect selfie? This app puts the blush and the lipstick (and everything else you made need) on for you. Even though I must say, this look is a little over the top!

Notice a difference in this picture? I resized my eyes and made them look even bigger than they actually are in real life. I told you the possibilities are endless!
Eye color
The Eye Color app is fun but it makes your eyes look as fake as colored contacts. So I stuck to my natural eye color (honey hazel) just to make them stand out more.
Selfie
Yes, ladies there's an app called Selfie made to airbrush the heck out of your selfies. I might have gone a little overboard on this one!
Eyebrows
I clearly haven't mastered this Eyebrows app, but the point is you can totally reshape or even get an entirely new set of eyebrows using this supposedly "easy" self-edit application. Might be fun just to use to figure out your eyebrow shape too.
