Zoe Saldana & 9 other Latina beauty ambassadors

I'm absolutely thrilled to announce that Zoe Saldana is officially the new face of L'Oréal Paris! Yay! The Dominican and Puerto Rican actress will be joining celebs Blake Lively and Lea Michelle as a brand ambassador and I honestly couldn't think of a better star to represent for us Latinas. Zoe isn't just gorgeous, she's elegant and, most importantly, incredibly confident!

"I want to share that value with women so they can embrace it and execute life with confidence. I am thrilled to join this beauty journey with such an inspirational brand," Zoe wrote in a statement to Hollywoodlife.com. "As a L'Oréal Paris spokesperson, being able to say, 'We're worth it,' means so much to me."

I'm actually surprised L'Oréal Paris didn't think of adding Zoe to their roster before. She represents everything today's modern woman wants to be. "Zoe astonishes with her audacious style and feline beauty. Attached to her values, unafraid to speak her mind, and confident in her own skin, she embodies infallible force and asserted feminity. With her toned dancer's silhouette, magnetic charm and delicate elegance, this spectacular actress is joining the L'Oréal Paris family and we're so proud to welcome this new Woman of Worth," Cyril Chapuy, L'Oréal Paris' global president said in a statement.

Zoe isn't the first Latina to work as a spokesperson for L'Oréal Paris either. Jennifer Lopez and Eva Longoria have also worked with the brand before. In fact, come to think of it, quite a few Latina celebs have represented major beauty brands. Here's a look at some of our favorites!

The Modern Family star is currently the face of CoverGirl. I’d say her gorgeous looks and colorful personality makes her a perfect match. "I want to show all women that they can look and feel beautiful with the right, affordable makeup," the Colombian actress said in her CoverGirl statement.

Eva Mendes

Eva worked as Pantene’s celebrity ambassador and it made perfect sense. "I grew up on Pantene! My sisters, my mom, and I have always loved it. It was the brand we splurged on at the drugstore. It was a luxury that was still attainable," she told Latina.com. "Plus, Pantene is so honest. When I met with them they touched my hair to check the texture and to make sure I didn’t have hair extensions. There were no tricks on the photo shoot–no false advertising here! That was important to me."

Eva Longoria

The former Desperate Housewives star has worked with L'Oréal Paris for a while now. "'Because I’m worth it' has empowered me in a way I never knew it would in my life and I am sure it empowers other women all over the world," she said in her ambassador statement.

Jennifer Lopez

J.Lo was part of L'Oréal Paris True Match Natural Looking Make Up campaign and also showed off her shiny, long locks for their EverSleek line commercial. "I’m excited to work with a brand that consistently offers a wide range of superior products that are attainable for women everywhere," she wrote in a statement.

Jessica Alba

No one knows how to rock a bright, bold lip quite like Jessica Alba. So it's no wonder Revlon had her work as one of their brand ambassadors. Smart choice!

Penélope Cruz

Lancôme

Penélope has worked as a brand ambassador for Lancôme in the past, but was made recently the face of their latest fragrance, Trésor Lumineuse. Did I mention it smells amazing?

Gisele Bündchen

Supermodel Gisele Bündchen probably has the best head of hair on the planet so of course she’s the latest face for Pantene.

Kate del Castillo

Kate de Castillo signed as a spokesperson for L'Oréal Paris in 2009. “I’m truly honored to join the confident and inspirational group of women who represent the L'Oréal Paris brand,” she said in her statement. “It is very exciting for me to say the iconic phrase, ‘Porque Tú Lo Vales’ to my fellow Latinas and to women all across the country."

The former Miss Universe 2010 and Mexican telenovela actress was also signed on as a beauty ambassador for L'Oréal Paris.
