Crossing your legs

Did you know that sitting with your legs crossed can bump up your blood pressure by putting pressure on the joints? I didn't! In fact, I may or may not have been sitting with my legs crossed a minute ago. Not anymore!

Slouching

Bad posture can lead to shoulder pain, since your rotator cuffs get pressed against your shoulder blades. It can also lead to muscle imbalance, so do your best to check you posture throughout the day.

Chewing gum

Constant gum chewing can lead to pain and damage in the jaw joint. So if you feel like your jaw is sore at the end of the day, you might want to cut back on your gum habit.

Carrying a heavy purse

I'm guilty of doing this every single day, but this info might spur me to change my routine: if you carry a heavy bag the same way every day, it could result in muscular imbalances and shoulder pain. Try alternating shoulders or lightening your load.

Putting off bathroom breaks

Well, delaying using the bathroom for prolonged periods of time could put your at risk for developing urinary tract infections.So listen to your body if nature calls!

Popping pain relievers

It's fine to take a Tylenol or Advil every now and then, but taking a lot more than the prescribed daily amount can lead to liver issues. And if you suffer from migraines, taking over-the-counter pain relievers two or three times a week for too many weeks on end can actually cause more headaches.
