Are you one of those people who thinks that kissing their kids on the mouth is weird? Because if you are, JessicaAlba just doesn't get you and quite frankly neither do I. The gorgeous actress, mother, wife and eco-entrepreneur graces the cover of the April 2014 issue of Redbook. In the accompanying profile, the 32-year-old mother of 5-year-old Honor and 2-year-old Haven kisses and tells. It's not that kind of kiss and tell though. She's not talking about kissing her 35-year-old hubby Cash Warren or any of the Hollywood hotties she has had the pleasure of locking lips with in her acting career. Nope, she's talking about kissing on her kids because you see, Jessica Alba is one of those unashamed, unabashed mothers that kisses her children right smack on the lips and some people just don't do that. Alba has a question for parents who don't kiss their children on the lips.

When informed that some parents don't kiss their kids on the lips Alba says, "Really? Why?! It's your baby. People allow dogs to lick at their mouths." I'm with Alba, I don't get it.
Sure, I'll be honest (haha, The Honest Company is the name of Alba's eco-friendly biz), before I had kids I would on occasion see parents kissing their littles on the lips and it would kind of sort of make me cringe. Why? Because I was looking at it as a grown up kid along the lines of, Yuck, I would never kiss my mom on the lips. Then I had babies and forget about it. Nothing will ever compare to baby kisses.
When my first started giving out kisses, it was like I had won the lottery but better because NO TAXES. Her kisses weren't even kisses, they were slobbery, wet affairs and she insisted on placing them right on my lips. I was hooked because love is addictive, my friends.
The time will come when my littles–and I'm sure Jessica Alba's littles–no longer want to kiss their parents on the lips and I am fully prepared for that. Until then, I will keep kissing them en la boca and to anyone who has a problem with that I say, go suck it and let a dog slobber all over you, I won't judge, now get off my mami-back 'cause I got kisses to give out.
