As a refresher, J.Lo and Ben first dated and became engaged in 2002 after meeting on the set of their film, Gigli. They called off their engagement in early 2004. Nearly 20 years later, Bennifer rekindled their romance in 2021. They finally said, "I do" the in June 2022 before breakup rumors began in May 2024.

On October 17, People published an interview from an exclusive source regarding Ben and Jen's split. The unnamed source claimed that the Good Will Hunting actor "never looked back" after moving out of his and Jennifer's marital home. Those who have been following their breakup likely remember that happened in June.
Today, Ben has other priorities—his kids and work.
In the wake of his divorce, Ben is reportedly "very focused on work and his kids," the source told People. "He's staying busy and happy." Ben shares three children with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner: Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12.
The breakup rumors started swirling in May amid reports that J.Lo and Ben were lively separately.
In mid-May, reports became rampant that Ben and Jen had been living separately amid breakup rumors. Ben was reportedly staying at a rental house in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, TMZ reported while filming for his movie, The Accountant 2.
In June, Ben reportedly moved his belongings out of his and Jen's home.
Jennifer enjoyed a vacation to Europe in June without Ben. That's when he took the opportunity to move his belongings out of their shared home, People reported.
"Ben continues to live at the Brentwood rental. He’s been there for about two months now," a source told the publication. "He seems okay. He’s been at his office every day and seems focused on work. He’s also spending time with his kids."
They listed their marital mansion for sale shortly afterward.
On July 11—after failing to quietly sell the property off-market—Ben and Jennifer publicly listed their Beverly Hills mansion for sale, Page Six reported. The list price is $68 million. This was nearly $8 million more than what the couple purchased it for in 2023.
Currently, Ben is living in a 'bachelor pad' he bought in July.
On July 27, Ben closed escrow on a $20.5 million Los Angeles "bachelor pad," TMZ reported. The home, located in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood, features five bedrooms and six bathrooms. It also includes dining and breakfast areas, a den, a family room, a media room, and a separate guest house on the property.
