On July 24, a source offered insight into J.Lo's current headspace. The "Get Loud" singer is reportedly "doing her best to stay positive and focus on the great things in her life," the insider told ET Online. This latest info comes as divorce chatter continues to dominate headlines.
Recently, Jen turned 55—and she views the birthday as a 'fresh start.'
The insider acknowledged that it's "been a hard year with some unexpected realizations, changes, and obstacles" for J.Lo. But "Jen is trying to view her 55th birthday as a fresh start."
The source added, "She is trying not to let her situation with Ben bring her down."
J.Lo has enjoyed spending time with family and friends this summer.
Additionally, the insider shared that Jennifer "always loves getting to spend time on the East Coast, especially during the summer." They noted, "it’s been nice for her to be surrounded by friends and family who love her." Recent photos have shown Jennifer doing exactly this.
On Instagram, Jen shared gratitude for well-wishes on her birthday.
On July 25, one day after turning 55, Jennifer took to Instagram to thank followers for their messages and continued support. She included a photo of herself with a party blower near a cake and balloon display that read, "Happy Birthday."
"I’ve been seeing all of your birthday wishes, beautiful videos, and posts all last night and this morning from all over the world. I have laughed, smiled, shed some tears, and when I saw the billboard in Times Square, I was completely overwhelmed," she wrote. "I really do have the best, most amazing fans in the world. That same day, J.Lo posted a video via Instagram of herself singing with singer/vocal coach Stevie Mackey. They performed "Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again" while sitting on a couch together. "Here’s to a new and HAPPY year around the sun…" Jenner captioned the update. "Late birthday nights with @steviemackey."
Recently, she enjoyed a birthday weekend in the Hamptons.
On July 20, Jennifer hosted a Bridgerton-themed birthday party in the Hamptons, New York. Her mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez, and other guests were photographed arriving for the event, per E! Online. She enjoyed lunch at Arthur & Sons the next day with her twins, Max and Emme, her sister, Lynda, and her manager, Benny Medina, Page Six reported. Ben was nowhere to be found at either get-together.
