Kanye West’s ex-assistant sues him for sexual harassment, breach of contract & more

Kayne West is no stranger to controversy. Through the years, the rapper has posted antisemitic social media rants, publicly feuded with the likes of Taylor Swift, Pete Davidson, and more, and been involved in several lawsuits. The Yeezy founder has also bashed his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, and her family following their divorce, and made headlines for the barely-there outfit choices of his current wife, Bianca Censori.

The latest headlines involving Kanye are not positive, either. Recently, a former personal assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, filed a lawsuit against him. And the allegations paint a pretty damning picture of her former employer.

Kanye West's former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, is suing him for sexual harassment, breach of contract, and more.

Lauren worked for Ye from July 2021 to October 2022, per The U.S. Sun. During that time, she alleges the rapper directed unwanted lewd behavior at her, among a slew of other claims. Specifically, Lauren is suing him for breach of contract, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and hostile work environment, BBC reported.

Lauren was an OnlyFans creator before meeting and working for Kanye.

After working on Yeezy's women's fashion line and collaborating with the rapper on three Donda tracks, Ye hired Lauren as a personal assistant. He reportedly paid her a $1 million salary and an additional $1 million to delete her OnlyFans account to be more "God like."

That's when he allegedly started sending explicit text messages and videos.

In the lawsuit, Lauren claimed Kanye sent her a slew of lewd text messages, TMZ reported. The OnlyFans creator also alleged that the rapper sent her pornographic videos and, one time, allegedly masturbated while talking on the phone to her. Additionally, Lauren claimed that Kanye "pleasured himself" in her presence after "trapping" her in a room on his plane.

Allegedly, he never paid Lauren her promised severance package, either.

Although Kanye promoted Lauren to chief of staff for his businesses in September 2022, he fired her the following month, BBC reported. Ye allegedly offered her a $3 million severance package. However, Lauren alleges he never paid her.

Kanye has been accused of lewd behavior in the past.

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time Kanye has been accused of lewd behavior. In November 2022, several Yeezy employees claimed he played porn during staff meetings, Rolling Stone reported. They also alleged that he showed job candidates inappropriate photos of Kim during interviews.

This is the third lawsuit Kanye has faced in 2024.

This year alone, Kanye faced two other lawsuits. The first came from the estate of Donna Summer for sampling her song "I Feel Love" without permission, per The Guardian. (Ultimately, the case was settled outside of court.) Additionally, a former Donda Academy security guard also sued Kanye in April for alleged harassment and racial discrimination, Page Six reported. Benjamin Deshon Provo claimed that Kanye fired him for being a Muslim and refusing to cut his dreadlocks.
