In 2012, Camila Cabello competed on The X-Factor as part of a girl group called Fifth Harmony. They finished third in the singing competition series and went on to achieve massive success after signing to Simon Cowell's record label. Ultimately, Camila embarked on a solo career after Fifth Harmony split in 2018, and her star has continued to shine.

Along the way, Camila has been in several relationships. Her most prominent and long-lived romance was with fellow pop star Shawn Mendes. But before the "Stitches" singer, Camila dated a YouTube star/relationship coach named Matthew Hussey. And in a recent interview, she confessed that not only was he her first boyfriend, but also the one to whom she lost her virginity.

During an appearance on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast, Camila opened up about how she was introduced to her Matthew. They met on the set of the Today show in February 2018.
"I was outside where they have the TV with the scripts," she explained on the May 20 podcast episode. "I had actually listened to his podcast before. I listened to his podcast before as a fan because he had, like, a dating podcast."
Camila said she told Matthew, "Oh my God. I'm such a big fan," and they ended up going to dinner that night.
It was her first relationship.
While chatting with Dax, Camila confessed that dating Matthew was a first for her. "That was my first relationship," she said. "It was late for my first time." At the time, she was 20 and said she felt "lonely."
"I was like, 'Oh my God. I've never had a boyfriend,'" the now 27-year-old recalled. "There was, like, literally eight songs that were, like, basically, lonely. I am so lonely."
Camila also opened up about losing her virginity to Matthew.
Dax asked Camila if she had "been having sex at all before 20," and the "Havana" singer honestly answered.
"No. That was my first time having sex," she confessed. "First lovemaking was at 20, 21. … It was literally lovemaking. It was beautiful."
She continued: "He was a really great person. It was like the perfect first relationship. Really expanded my world because he wasn't in my industry too."
Soon after she and Matthew split, Camila started dating Shawn.
After Camila and Matthew split in June 2019, the former Fifth Harmony member started dating Shawn. Camila and Shawn even released a smash hit song, "Señorita," in 2019. Their relationship lasted for two years until they called it quits in November 2021.
Today, Matthew is a married man.
Matthew and Camila didn't work out in the long run. However, the relationship coach moved on with Audrey Le Strat. Matthew and Audrey married in October 2023. He also released his second book, Love Life, in April 2024.
Who is Camila dating now?
In June 2022, Camila was rumored to be dating Lox Club CEO Austin Kevitch when they were photographed together in Los Angeles. They were spotted kissing on a lunch date in August of that year, and then leaving from a dinner date that November. Reportedly, they split by February 2023.
In April 2023, Camila and Shawn seemingly rekindled their romance when they were seen hugging and kissing at Coachella.
Most recently, Camila was romantically linked with rapper Drake when they were spotted chatting during a vacation to Turks and Caicos in December 2023.
