Even mega movie stars and pop sensations have side hustles. Just look at Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. When they're not acting in blockbuster films or creating hit songs, the celebrity couple is building their real estate portfolio — and recently, they were spotted while house hunting in New York City.

Seriously, though, do Ben and Jen ever sleep? Not only are they at the top of their respective industries — acting and music — but they also dabble in adjacent business opportunities. Jen has JLo Beauty and brand endorsement deals. Meanwhile, Ben started a production company with his old pal, Matt Damon. Let's take a closer look at their recent NYC trip.
The couple was spotted seemingly touring houses in NYC.
Over the Easter weekend, Ben and Jen toured multiple homes while in NYC. One property was a townhouse on East 68th Street that would set them back $45,000 per month in rent, the New York Post reported. A second home was a 3,024-square-foot townhouse on East 69th Street with a list price of $5.95 million.
Paparazzi also spotted them leaving a restaurant.
J.Lo and Ben were in NYC so she could shoot for the musical movie Kiss of the Spider Woman, Page Six reported. In addition to scoping out some properties, the power couple was spotted grabbing a bite to eat. Paparazzi caught them exiting Sadelle's restaurant on Saturday, March 30.
Are Ben and Jen moving to NYC?
Bennifer is not likely planning on living full time in NYC. (Ben's ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, is based in Los Angeles with their three kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, after all.) It's more likely the couple is looking to add to their property investments; J.Lo already owns a home in Manhattan, among the many other properties in her impressive portfolio.
Jennifer owns several other properties outside of NYC.
In January, Architectural Digest reported that J.Lo owns $124.8 million in real estate. This includes homes in the Hamptons, Bel Air, Miami, and more. So Jennifer is no rookie when it comes to buying and selling properties.
While in NYC, J.Lo enjoyed a Broadway musical.
Jen and Ben's NYC trip wasn't all business. On March 24, J.Lo posted a carousel of photos and video clips via Instagram of her day in the city, which included going to see Merrily We Roll Along with Emme on Broadway. They even had an opportunity to meet Jonathan Groff.
She also grabbed ice cream with the kiddos.
On March 28, Jennifer shared another snap from her visit to NYC. "Spring break," the mom of two captioned her Instagram post. In the photo, J.Lo smiles while holding an ice cream cone while Emme and another girl pose with their frozen desserts, too.
