Kudos to whoever put together the teaser for IMPACT x Nightline: Gisele Bündchen: Climbing the Mountain—an interview between supermodel Gisele Bündchen and Robin Roberts on Good Morning America—because they definitely put a heavy dose of tease into the teaser. In 68 seconds, the trailer manages to show just enough to leave you wanting more. In one section, Gisele gets so emotionally overwhelmed that she gets teary-eyed and turns away from the camera to hide her distress.

You won’t believe what made her get all choked up like that either because it was such a simple question that led to those tears. It actually reminds me of the time when Meghan Markle got emotional when a reporter asked her how she was doing because as she said, “Not many people have asked if I’m OK.” Gisele seemed just as surprised and affected when Robin asked her a basic question. See for yourself.
The trailer starts with Gisele speaking about what she’s experienced.
"Everything I've experienced, it made me realize what I want and what I don't want," the supermodel told Robin as they sat outside on what appears to be a beautiful ranch-like property with stables in the background.
“At the end of the day if you’re not truthful to who you are, then it doesn’t work,” Gisele can be heard saying a few seconds later into the teaser. Then to news clips from when she and Tom Brady announced their divorce in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.
Robin brought up Gisele’s divorce from former NFL quarterback Tom Brady.
“You didn’t think that your marriage would end. No one goes into a marriage thinking it’s going to end, but it does. You said it was the death of a dream.” Gisele simply responded, “Yeah.” Then Robin asked a simple question that made Gisele choke back tears.
What did Robin ask that made Gisele fight back tears?
“How are you?” Robin asked. Gisele started off saying, “Well, when you say…” And then she stopped, got visibly emotional and looked away from the camera as if trying to hide the tears she was holding back.
“Sorry, guys, I didn’t know. Can I have a little moment” Gisele said as she raised her hand to the camera and continued to look away. Her emotions are palpable and it’s clear that she did not expect to be so affected by such a seemingly simple question.
The trailer then switches to a Gisele talking about co-parenting.
"I think, you know, there’s easier days than others and I can only control what I do," Gisele explained. She and Tom share two children from their relationship: son Benjamin and daughter Vivian. Tom also shares son Jack with ex Bridget Moynahan.
What did she say when Robin asked if she will be ‘able to open up’ her heart again?
“You gonna be able to open up your heart again to someone?” Robin asked playfully. Gisele coyly fidgets with her turtleneck and responds “um” as she throws her hands up while smiling before the trailer cuts away.
The trailer ends with Gisele saying, “Where my heart is now is where I am right now. I’m living my truth and I’m not apologizing for it.” Good for her! We should all be unapologetically living out truth.
You can watch he full interview starting March 7.
Part of the interview will air on Good Morning America on Thursday, March 7. You can stream the entire interview starting March 7 as well. Should be an interesting watch, given what the trailer teased.
Oh, and in case you’re wondering, Gisele is indeed dating someone.
This wasn’t in the trailer, but according to a report from Page Six Gisele is dating jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente. They quoted a source as saying, “They’re deeply in love.” But another source said that although they have they’ve “discreetly being seeing each other since the summer” that it might be a little too soon to throw around the “love” word.
