If Paris Hilton is throwing a party, you can bet it’s going to be an over-the-top, glamorous event. It makes sense, then, that her son Phoenix’s first birthday celebration would be a star-studded event complete with a petting zoo. Following her baby boy’s birthday, Paris shared photos from the shebang—and it’s clear she and her family are sliving (slaying/living).

As a refresher, Paris and her husband, Carter Reum, welcomed not one but two children in 2023. Phoenix was born via surrogate on January 16, 2023. Less than 10 months later, his baby sister, London, arrived via surrogate on November 11.
Paris gave her TikTok followers an inside look at Phoenix’s first birthday party.
While wearing a blue dress and crown and holding her son—who rocked a dapper Fendi outfit and cap—Paris gave her followers a glimpse of her baby boy’s first birthday celebration. “It’s Phoenix’s first birthday, and we have a ‘Sliving Under the Sea’ theme. I’m so excited,” she explained in the TikTok video. “I’ve thrown amazing birthday parties my whole life. So now to be able to do this for my little boy is just a special memory.”
She also showed off the dazzling balloon displays and decorations.
In another TikTok video, Paris panned the camera across the elaborate sea-inspired decorations. Clusters of colored balloons brightened up the party alongside a whale balloon, a giant clam with a pearl, gift bags and what appears to be slime stations. Fittingly, a marimba cover of “Under the Sea” played in the background.
Another TikTok video showed Phoenix playing in a ball pit.
A third TikTok video Paris shared from Phoenix’s birthday party showed mother and son playing in a ball pit together. The area featured an inflatable slide that dropped into a pit of blue balls perfect for the theme. In the video clip, Phoenix smiles on Paris’ lap as she moves around the balls and talks to him.
She shared pictures on Instagram from a gorgeous photo shoot with Phoenix.
The proud mom of a new 1-year-old took to Instagram on January 31 to offer another glimpse into Phoenix’s birthday festivities. “Sliving under the sea with Baby P for his first birthday! ♀️ ✨,” she captioned a carousel of photos. “A magical day for the most magical smiley boy. My life is forever changed thanks to you Phoenix! Thank you for making me the luckiest #SlivingMom ✨” In photos, followers get a peek at some ducks, a bunny, goats, a pony and a sheep as part of the petting zoo.
She also showed off photos with celebrities and their kids.
In another Instagram post, she featured photos of herself and Phoenix posing with celebrities and their children. “Such a magical and special day celebrating my #BirthdayBoy Phoenix with my friends and their babies ⚓️✨ ️,” Paris wrote, adding the hashtags #SlivingUnderTheSea and #SlivingMom. The first photo shows Paris, Carter and Phoenix posting with Paris' parents, Kathy and Richard, brother, Barron, and Barron's wife, Tessa, and their kids.
Selma Blair attended.
The second photo in the carousel featured actress Selma Blair. In the shot, Selma rocked a magenta long-sleeved dress with fishnet tights as she posed next to Paris. The celeb pals were definitely sliving!
Kelly Osbourne was at Phoenix’s party with her son.
For photo No. 3, Paris held Phoenix while standing next to Kelly Osbourne and her son, Sidney. The former The View cohost welcomed her first child with her boyfriend, Slipknot member Sid Wilson, in November 2022. In the picture, Kelly wore a mushroom-print dress and her signature purple hair, while Sidney donned a gray-and-white outfit with matching sneakers. Kat Von D was another celebrity who attended.
In another picture, Paris and Phoenix posed next to LA Ink star Kat Von D and her son, Leafar Von Drachenberg Reyes. The tattoo artist welcomed her first child with her husband, Leafer Seyer (birth name Rafael Reyes) in 2018. The celebrity friends smiled while standing in front of a “Sliving Mom” backdrop.
Kyle Richards was there.
Another photo showed The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kylie Richards, the half sister of Paris’ mom Kathy, posing with Paris and Barron. Paris and Barron rocked sunglasses in the shot while Kylie made a statement with a black hat and a bright blue bag. Phoenix’s party was certainly a family affair!

It wasn’t just the Hilton side of the family who celebrated Phoenix turning one. In yet another picture, Paris held the birthday boy next to her sister-in-law (Carter’s sister) Halle Hammond and her daughter. You can definitely see the cousin resemblance!

At Phoenix’s party, Paris posed with former reality TV star Chanel West Coast, and her daughter, Bowie. Chanel and her boyfriend, Dom Fenison, welcomed their first child in November 2022. She is known for appearing on MTV's Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory and Ridiculousness.
Influencer Desi Perkins also stopped for a photo.
Further down in her Instagram carousel, Paris posed with beauty influencer Desi Perkins and her daughter, Harley. Desi and her husband, Steven, welcomed a son named Ocean in October 2020, followed by Harley in August 2022. Desi wore an all-denim look while Harley rocked a floral dress.
Actress and director Christine Lakin attended Phoenix’s party, too.
Christine Lakin, best known for her role in the ‘90s sitcom Step by Step, also made Paris’ Instagram birthday photo dump. The actress and director posed next to the socialite and Phoenix while holding her son, Baylor. Christine also shares a daughter, Georgia, with her husband, actor Brandon Breault.
Lance Bass was there!
The former NSYNC singer Lance Bass and his husband, Michael Turchin, dropped by Phoenix’s birthday bash. In the photo, Paris stood in the middle, flanked by Lance on one side and Michael on the other as each held one of their twins, Alexander and Violet. So sweet!
Paris shared a touching birthday tribute for Phoenix on his first birthday.
On Phoenix’s actual birthday, Paris posted a sweet Instagram tribute for her son. “One year ago, a beautiful angel baby entered our lives, bringing so much love and happiness ✨,” she wrote. “My precious little one, you are more than a dream come true. You make my life complete .”
