There is no wrong way to celebrate Independence Day. Although some folks view it as just a day off work, others go all out with patriotic parties, food, and clothing. Many people opt to watch fireworks displays or grill out with friends and family — and this includes celebrities.

Some shared thoughtful messages reflecting on the federal holiday, while others posted photos and/or videos of how they observed the Fourth of July. Sofía Vergara enjoyed a patriotic-themed party.
Sofía Vergara posted to Instagram on Independence Day, sharing photos from the red, white, and blue gathering she enjoyed with company. "Happy 4th!!! ," she posted a carousel of photos. Among the images was a bald eagle cake with American flags sticking out of it and the message, "Happy 4th of July!" Balloons, flowers, festive place settings, and other goodies completed the spread.
Lili Estefan shared photos from her trip to the Bahamas.

Jennifer Lopez enjoyed fireworks, music, and pool time on July 4.
Judging by the photos Jennifer Lopez posted on Instagram, she spent her Independence Day poolside with some of her Delola bottled cocktails. The star also enjoyed a fireworks display and some live music. "Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend filled with love, family, friends and fun ☀️ ," she captioned her post.
Danny Trejo shared multiple posts in honor of Independence Day.
Danny Trejo took to Instagram to share an artistic image of himself with the American flag in the background. "Land of the Free, Home of the Brave! Happy #4thOfJuly!" he captioned the post. Khloé Kardashian shared a new photo of her son, Tatum, on Independence Day.

One of them included her son Tatum Thompson (whose face was blocked by a white sun hat) chowing down on some fruit from an arrangement of blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, bananas, and watermelon in the shape of an American flag. Yum!

Tom Brady had more than one reason to celebrate on July 4. That's because the former NFL star and his three children gathered with family to honor his mother Galynn Brady for her birthday. "HBD mom!!! You are the most amazing mom and Grammy in the ," Tom wrote on his Instagram Story. "And Happy 4th all."

Former pro soccer player David Beckham and former Spice Girls member Victoria Beckham are English, so they don't celebrate Independence Day, per se. However, the power couple did take to Instagram to mark their July 4 anniversary. “On this day 4.7.99. 24 years and counting,” David wrote alongside a throwback photo of the couple. “To the best wife, mummy & drinking partner (most of the time). Michelle Obama shared a stunning photo alongside Barack Obama.
It came as no surprise that former first lady Michelle Obama shared an Instagram post in honor of Independence Day. "From our family to yours, we hope you have a happy Fourth of July!" she wrote. The post featured the silhouettes of Michelle and former President Barack Obama from behind as they gazed at a dazzling fireworks display.
The former first couple also celebrated daughter Malia Obama's birthday.
In addition to catching some fireworks on July 4 for Independence Day, the Obamas had another reason to celebrate: It was Malia Obama's birthday! "Happy birthday to this talented, hilarious, and beautiful young woman," the former POTUS captioned an Instagram photo of himself and his oldest daughter hugging.
