Jennifer Lopez just posted a throwback picture of her and her twins, Max and Emme, on Instagram, and it made our jaws drop. Not for the reason you might think, though. The photo of J.Lo snuggling with her "coconuts" is adorable, but what we can't get over is that it seems to prove the theory that she is, in fact, aging in reverse.

In the picture Jen posted, Max and Emme appear to still be toddlers. They're 13 now, so we're guessing it's from about a decade ago, and to be honest, the 52-year-old J.Lo Beauty founder looks just as youthful today as she did back then, if not more so. She was reading the kids a bedtime story in the photo, and it was clearly taken at the end of the day, but still…we can't believe how little she seems to have aged.
Jen's throwback picture was super sweet.
J.Lo must have been feeling nostalgic when she came across the photo of her reading her kiddos a bedtime story from years ago. She captioned it, "Miss these moments … #Cocos #LuluAndMaxi #Throwback."
Don't get us wrong—she looked beautiful.
Jen looked beautiful and totally peaceful in the picture, despite the fact that it was the end of the day and her makeup was fading. She genuinely reminded us of every mom reuniting with her kids after a long workday.
Max and Emme have gotten older, while J.Lo looks younger.
Max and Emme have grown up and matured so much since that photo was taken, but we couldn't help but notice that J.Lo almost looks younger today than she did all those years ago, when her coconuts were little.
Photo editing has come a long way.
While J.Lo doesn't shy away from sharing makeup-free and unedited photos on social media, these days better phone cameras, awesome filters, and easy-to-use photo-editing tools make it easy to look flawless in every photo. So perhaps that's one of the reasons she appears to look younger today than she did then.
Or maybe it's the J.Lo Beauty.
Jen launched her skin care line, J.Lo Beauty, at the very beginning of 2021 and had been testing the products herself for some time before that. So maybe her skin care routine actually has stopped the signs of aging in their tracks.
Whatever the reason, she's an ageless beauty.
Jennifer has always been and always will be gorgeous, as these pictures prove. She takes incredible care of herself, and it shows. We still think, though, that what makes her so stunning is her inner glow, which always radiates when she's with her kids, whether she's wearing makeup or using a filter or not.
