One of the common topics of conversation between me and my girlfriends is about poop. It might sound unladylike, but it thoroughly amused me to hear that this is Cameron Diaz's favorite topic to talk about too! During a guest appearance on The Dr. Oz Show, Cameron was featured in a segment where she spoke about … well, pooping.
If that doesn't make you love her down-to-earth personality, I don't know what will!

Cameron appeared on the famous doctor's show to promote her new book, The Body Book: The Law of Hunger, the Science of Strength, and Other Ways to Love Your Amazing Body. According to Cameron, one of the main indicators of good health are your bowel movements and Dr. Oz (and I) couldn't agree more.
The 41-year-old actress wasn't shy to admit that she starts off everyday by drinking a liter of water to help her poop. She said water helps get things moving in the morning and wakes her up.
Although most people are embarrassed to talk about one of the most natural human functions, Cameron believes that it is important to educate women about their body. "So let's get past the ick quotient and the modesty factor and become more familiar with what comes out the bottom of your beautiful bottom. Because poop is not 'eeew'. It's knowledge."Cameron said during the segment.
So then what do the doctor and self-proclaimed poop expert do? Analyze stool samples of course! The show brought on set the different types of poop that Americans experience and which texture is healthy or unhealthy. She impressed Dr. Oz not only with her knowledge about poop, but ability to chug a whole liter of water in only 20 seconds!
I love that Cameron is encouraging women to feel less ashamed about talking about poop, because c'mon, it's natural and we ALL do it. Admittedly, it's not the most classy topic to discuss, but it is important to do so if you are experiencing bathroom problems. In case you're having said issues, then maybe trying out Cameron's "technique" is not such a bad idea.
