Hallelujah, pubic hair is making a comeback and I'm thrilled! I mean if you want to keep it bare down there, go right ahead, but I hate the idea of women or men thinking that a hairless vagina is the only way to go and that a lady sporting a tuft of hair down under is somehow dirty (not in a good way), unhygienic, or just a sloppy mess. We have hair there for a reason and you are well within your rights to get rid of it if you want, but son of a gun, the pressure to go hairless has been overwhelming for what feels like forever. That's why I'm so excited that a recent study by YourTango found that pubic hair is back, baby! Even celebrities are sporting the short and curlies.

Supposedly, Cameron Diaz, Lady Gaga, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Solange are rockin' a southern shag. I wouldn't know, I've never seen them without their chonies on, but that's what I hear. In Cameron Diaz's new book The Body Book, she says, "Women undergoing laser hair removal on all of their lady bits. Personally, I think permanent laser hair removal sounds like a crazy idea. Also, let's be honest: just like every other part of your body, your labia major is not immune to gravity. Do you really want a hairless vagina for the rest of your life?"
That sounds terrible! I don't want my cooch to get cold when it's old. If I made myself permanently hairless down there, I might be forced to knit myself a little wool cozy for my lady bits in my golden years.
All kidding aside, 51 percent of women surveyed are letting their crotch hair go wild and aren't doing any grooming at all down there. I wouldn't go that far, I like to keep manageable wouldn't want it getting caught in my zipper or anything. Oh, and 62 percent say their partners like to go wild in a full bush.
I say hip hip hooray! Think of all the time that will be saved by not having to over-groom! You could use the time to braid your new extra long pubes for an extra special look.Trenzas are totally cute.
