Glamorous and gorgeous Gisele Bundchen can't seem to stop pissing off moms. What exactly did she do this time? She posted a picture on Instagram of herself being tended to by her team of … let's call them beauty engineers … while she is breastfeeding her baby with the caption,"What would I do without this beauty squad after the 15 hours flying and only 3 hours of sleep #multitasking #gettingready." Personally, I think the photo is lovely. It's just another day in the life of Gisele, the model, the mother, the genetically blessed human being, who makes a living off her blessings.

I don't find this photo upsetting in the least. No, it's not something most moms can relate to, but so what? It's a snapshot of Gisele's life and it's sweet, and she's acknowledging that she has a beauty squad and she's nursing her kid. I've done all kinds of things while nursing my kids, I never once looked as lovely as Gisele doing it, but whatever, I'm not a supermodel.
I mean the Brazilain beauty is no stranger to controversy as she has been known to drop some pretty judgemental bombs, like stating in an interview that in her opinion there should be a worldwide law that all mothers should breastfeed for 6 months (yeah, good luck with that) or in an other interview where she slammed pregnant women for treating themselves like garbage disposals when it comes to eating. Yeah, when she says things like that I think she's being kind of a jerk who just doesn't get it, but this latest incident that has some mommies all pissed off, I think, is nothing to get pissed off about at all. She is who she is, we don't have to be like her, we don't even have to like her.
Not everyone is hating on Gisele for this picture, some are thanking her for breastfeeding openly. When it comes to keeping breastfeeding private, I say, screw that! I'm all for breastfeeding publicly, just like I'm all for bottle-feeding publicly. Just feed your babies and if you want to put pictures of yourself doing it on Instagram, whatevs.
