We are so excited for our beautiful mami blogger and Devious Maids star Paula Garces. We couldn't wait to announce the birth of her beautiful brand spankin' new baby boy, Antonio Andres Hernandez, who was born on Wednesday. Oh yeah, those are his beyond adorable little feet in the picture. Congratulations to Paula, her hubby Antonio Hernandez, and her 21-year-old daughter Skye. No doubt that baby is being showered with love. Aquí entre nos, though–we were kind of worried. Why? Well, Paula's labor was not an easy one. She was in labor for a ridiculously long time and after pushing for HOURS she had to have an emergency C-section. That's a lot to go through and we've been concerned, but she sent us a message that she would like us to share with you.

This is how Paula is feeling:
After a long & difficult 14 hour labor 3 hours of pushing and then an emergency c section How do I feel?? The happiest I've ever felt since my daughter's birth and day I got married. That's how powerful the love of my family is !!! It heals anything feels me with love & hope. I feel powerful like I can achieve any impossible dream!! Most important baby Antonio Andres Hernandez is healthy & beautiful. Thank God!
What relief to know that both she and baby are doing well. I can so identify with that feeling of power that she describes. After giving birth, I tapped into all kinds of strength I had no idea I had. That's why mothers are such a powerful force. Mamás, together we can achieve "any impossible dream!" Thanks for the inspiration, Paula, and FELICIDADES!!!
