Morbidly obese mom loses 10 DRESS SIZES because she feared crushing her baby

A few months after the birth of her second son, Tanya Oliver-Grieves started panicking that at nearly 277 pounds she was way too big to take care of him properly. She was so morbidly obese that she had a hard time getting up from the couch and feared she would crush her baby if she fell on top of him. The thought was so terrifying that the young mom decided to do something drastic losing 10 dress sizes in 18 months!

But Oliver-Grieves didn't undergo a gastric bypass surgery or any other invasive procedure. No, she lost the weight the old fashioned way: watching what she ate and exercising.

At first, though, like many overweight women, Oliver-Grieves tried a lot of gimmicks like fad diets and weight loss pills. Although she admits she did see some results, they never lasted long enough and she realized she had to find a better way to lose the pounds and keep them off.

She educated herself and pretty much became almost obsessed with losing weight, but after 18 months the results were amazing. She had lost 130 pounds and had gone from a size 26 to a size 6!

The now 33-year-old woman is an inspiration to others and has even become a personal trainer because she says she understands what it's like to be obese and feel hopeless. While other people have accomplished the same feat, I think Oliver-Grieves' story is unique in that it was her fear of causing harm to her own child what initially motivated her to make the drastic change in her life. She's setting a great example for her kids!
