But this season I'm a little happier than usual, because 60s beauty trends are back! That's right, chicas, all those gorgeous retro-looks our abuelas used to rock back in the day are totally in now! I'm talking big, bold Rita-Moreno inspired brows (pictured here), matte red lips, cat-eyes, well-defined lower lashes (my personal favorite) and much, much more!

Something about 60s, vintage looks just makes a girl feel fabulous. If I'm feeling crappy all I have to do is swap on some bright, red lipstick or smoke up my eyes and I instantly feel pulled together. Mind you, that's even if I'm struggling with a terrible hair day. The cool thing about these beauty trends is that they work perfectly on all of us Latinas, regardless of our skin tones or hair textures, making it super easy for us to sport. Here are 10 retro-inspired beauty trends you HAVE to try!

Cat-eyes
Sexy winged liner makes eyes look bigger and brighter. Just look at Zoe Saldanas! It's also super easy to create. Try using eyeliner that features a black, felt-tip, like Tarte MultipleEye Natural Lash Enhancing Liquid Liner ($22).
Matte red lips
Want to look fabulous in seconds? Swipe on a bright, red matte lipstick, like Laura Mercier Rouge Nouveau Weightless Lip Colour in Moi ($24). Shine-free lips are so old Hollywood!
Beehive
Sophisticated side-swept beehives just scream 60s glamour. Even Eva Longoria seems to be a fan! Use a teasing brush, like the Spornette The Little Wonder Teasing Brush ($5) to create volume at roots.
Doll lashes
Sixties glam was all about well-defined, lengthy lower lashes. So make sure to apply plenty of mascara to those bottom lids ladies! I love Maybelline Volum' Express Falsies Big Eyes Mascara ($8).
Big bold brows
I've said this before and I'll say it again, bold brows are a girl's best friend! They perfectly frame eyes and even erase years off. But if you weren't blessed with naturally thick eyebrows like Rita Moreno, fake it with Benefit's Gimme Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel ($22).
Voluminous blow-out
Nothing says sexy like a head full of big hair. For a bombshell blowout like Camilla Belle's, spritz a volume-boosting spray at the roots, like Living Proof Full Root Lifting Spray ($26). Blow dry using a large, round bristle brush.
Smoky eyes
Add a modern twist to the classic smoky look by using blue and purple shades, like the ones in Sephora's Collection Eye Graphic 4 Colors Palette in Smoky violet ($24).
Long oval nails
Oval shaped nails create the illusion of longer, leaner hands. For a fresher take on the vintage-inspired look add a metallic color, like Essie Polish in For The Twill Of It ($8).

It's a fun and stylish way to pull back messy hair. Eva Mendes does it all the time!
Pixie cut
A pixie cut like Morena Baccarin's gives off edge and sass. Just make sure you get one that works with your face shape and hair texture.
