Relax! New moms need at least a few weeks to relax and compose herself again after having a baby. Watch movies or catch up on your favorite TV shows when you can as you adjust to the new change and feel somewhat normal again.
Bond with your newborn: Babies grow up before you know it, so you should savor every moment you have with them as babies. When they reach the toddler stages, you'll be begging for the infant years back.
Ask for help: Whether it's your mom, sister, or aunt, having a helping hand around the home will do wonders for you. You need the assistance while you recover from having a human inside you for the past nine months.
Sleep when you can: Babies are prone to napping a lot and that's when it ideal to take one yourself. The last thing you want to do is be sleep deprived when dealing with a crying infant.
Create a schedule: Now with the new baby at home things have to be adjusted according to a schedule. Get the baby used to a routine that will make parenthood easier for you and reduce the stressors that come along with it.
