Snooki wants a “gay little boy one day” & that’s okay!

You'll never guess what Snooki has been praying for these days. She wants a gay son! The Jersey Shore star made the statement this Monday night at the TrevorLIVE event that helps promote the Trevor Project's anti-bullying and suicide prevention campaign. Maybe her son Lorenzo will be the answer to her prayers?

"I'm so grateful for the Trevor Project to support the LGBT youth so they have someone there for them because I'm praying I have a gay little boy one day," she said. Snooki, who is engaged to her finance Jionni LaValle, the father of her 10-month-old son, Lorenzo, also considers herself bisexual. She was joined by Jersey Shore co-star and BFF, Jenni "JWoww" Farley at the event. "We're huge supporters of the LGBT community … so we would do anything to help them and to protect them," Jenni went on to say. "We feel like moms when it comes to our gays. We really do."

So does that mean Snooki really wouldn't mind being a mom to a gay child? Actually it seems like she'd prefer a gay son over a straight one–and you know what? There's nothing wrong with that. That's not to say she's be disappointed if Lorenzo doesn't turn out homosexual. I think she's just saying that no matter her child's orientation, she'll be just as loving and supportive and I think that's pretty awesome if you ask me.

Not only has Snooki always supported the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community, but she also feels like motherhood has really changed her as a person. "When we go out, I feel like I take care of [Jenni] now, and that's weird," she admitted. I think it says a lot that someone who is actually a mother is confessing she would love to have a gay son, versus someone who hasn't experienced motherhood yet. It's very easy for someone whose not a mom to go out and say that. But in Snooki's case I think it's fair to say she really would be happy if little Lorenzo turned out gay.

Anyhow, this just goes to show that the world is changing and we definitely need more parents out there that think like this. If everyone shared Snooki's mentality there would definitely be a lot less bullying going on. That's for sure!
