Apparently, the woman finished an early-bird dinner at BuddyFreddy's and left the restaurant with two companions at around 4 p.m. But she returned a short while later and offered to buy the meals of all 180 diners in the restaurant. The total tab? Close to $2,600! She even made sure to give $50 to each of the five servers. Wow! Talk about a generous gesture.
"Everybody got up and applauded and started hugging her," the restaurant's manager Stephanie Reave said. And though the woman apparently denied she was the big lottery winner, Reaves claimed it "sure looked like" MacKenzie.
Well, regardless of who it was, she is clearly an extremely giving and charitable person. Just think–with this one act, she brightened up so many people's day! And if it really was Mackenzie, it was such a great and fun way of spending a little of her earnings to bring a smile to everyone's faces. It's nice to know that are still people out there who will go out of their way to be nice, even for no reason at all. Personally, I would have just loved to be in that restaurant. The reactions of the all of those patrons must have been priceless!
