5 Ways to fake toned looking legs for summer

It's skirt season and you know what that means: time to show off those sexy legs! Let's be real, though: Between your summery skirts, dresses, and bathing suits, your legs are going to be front and center throughout the spring and summer, so why not get them looking their best? 1. Get a faux tan: A nice deep tan makes legs look longer and leaner. It also does a great job at diminishing the appearance of cellulite. Look for a sunless tanner that's going to work with your own skin tone to help deepen the color, without resulting in a pesky orangey shade. Jergens Natural Glow 3 Days to Glow Moisturizer ($10) is a great one and it doesn't have that nasty odor most self-tanners have.

2. Treat cellulite: Try massaging your thighs with a treatment that's going to help reduce the appearance of cellulite, like Mama Mio Shrink To Fit Cellulite Cream ($56). I'd take it one step further and massage using a cellulite brush that's really going to help stimulate blood circulation, resulting in smoother looking skin. Try Bliss Fat Girl Slimulator ($22).

3. Try a body cover: Dermablend Leg & Body Cover ($28) does to your body what highlighters and bronzers do for you face–it contours! It helps even out your skin tone and conceals any scars or spider veins you may have.

4. Wear high-heeled sandals: Ankle-strap sandals don't just make legs look toner, but also a lot more defined. You don't have to pot for a sky-hight pair either, even 2 inch ones makes a difference.

5. Slap on a firming cream: A body firming cream, like Philosophy Amazing Grace  Firming Body Moisturizer ($35), helps revitalize and tighten sagging skin. For best results try applying twice a day. Once in the morning and once before bed.
