My baby loves her some breast milk. It's true. She is over 2 years old and she loves it. I stopped breastfeeding briefly while I was on medication, but then when I was done my little girl kept asking to nurse and since I was still making milk, we're back at it.
Obviously, at this point it is more of a bonding thing than an actual nutrition thing because she is eating enough solid foods to be able to be completely off the breast. I'm all for extended breastfeeding if that's your thing, but there seems to be some strange product development going on around breast milk and I'm not sure if I find it touching or kinda gross.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think anything about breast milk is gross, but the commercialization of breast milk is a little weird. Check out this gallery of five kinda gross breast milk products and tell me what you think.

Canapé

Chef Daniel Angerer made cheese from his wife's breast milk a couple of years ago and let diners at his now-defunct N.Y.C. restaurant munch on it.
Lollipops

Lollyphile came up with the idea of making a breast milk flavored lollipop for the breastfeeder in all of us, I guess. The lollipos are not made with actual breastmilk, but are formulated to taste like the real deal. I have no idea who the taste-testers for this porduct were. I find it very strange.
