The U.K.'s Daily Mail reports that Khan went from a size 14 to a size 8 using the shapewear after she contemplated the idea of mixing weight loss and heat. She started out by using huge underwear and wrapping herself in platic cling wrap.
She explained the way the shapewear works is through a simple process: "It emits heat when it comes into contact with the skin–but not enough to be noticed by the wearer–and improves metabolism, blood flow and leads to stimulation of the body's lymphatic draining system to melt away toxins and fat."
The mom was admired by friends and family alike after seeing her dramatic weight loss, which led to the creation of Fit Britches. Eventually through trial and error, she created the shapewear from an innovative fiber and knit that she says is the key ingredient to burning fat. The line has a range of clothing and underwear meant to help women lose inches and reduce unsightly cellulite.
A study was even conducted on more than 50 women who tested the item eight hours a day for a span of 60 days, without changing their diet or lifestyle. The results showed that on average, these women lost five inches from the waist, three inches from the hips, three inches from their butts, and three inches from their thighs. There was even a huge improvement in skin elasticity, skin blood circulation, and a reduction in cellulite. The best part is Fit Britches can be worn to the gym, office or in the comfort of your own home, but Khan recommends using them while maintaining a healthy balanced lifestyle.
Khan plans on expanding her product line with the help of business support network Rising Stars as she continues to receive exposure through many media outlets.
