I have to hand it to Kim Kardashian, who surprises me sometimes. Case in point? If you think she and boyfriend Kanye West are already thinking baby registry you're SO wrong. Instead of registering for gifts, they're asking their friends and family to make a donation to Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago. Isn't that so sweet?

When it comes to her maternity style she has left me disappointed more than enough times, but when she gets a look right she REALLY gets it right! The mom-to-be was spotted walking the streets of Paris with her baby daddy, Kanye West yesterday looking incredibly chic in a red hot maxi dress that totally accentuated her pregnancy curves. The girl was seriously glowing. Is it me or has Kim been looking better and better ever since her divorce was finalized?
Kanye has been in Paris for several months now working on his next album, which is why we haven't been seeing the couple together all that often. But it looks like the two have been trying to fit in some quality time because first we saw them reuniting last week in N.Y.C. and this week Kanye had Kim picked up from her vacation in Greece on a private plane to join him in Paris. Kim even tweeted later that day, "Best day ever."
We're loving the new look and the selfless ask for their shower. Kim and Kanye aren't the only celebs out there that asked for donations in exchange for baby gifts, though. There are quite a few stars out there that shared the same idea. See the list below!

The Colombian superstar has been very active in charities since the very beginning of her career. So it made perfect sense that she asked her guests to make charity donations for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) of which she is a global ambassador, for her baby shower in lieu of gifts.
Jessica Alba
For Jessica Alba’s second baby shower in 2011, she asked her guests for donations for Los Angeles families in need rather than for gifts. It doesn’t’ surprise me one bit that The Honest Company founder and actress chose to celebrate in such a noble way.
Nicole Richie
The TV personality and fashion designer organized a “Wizard of Oz” themed baby shower with her husband Joel Madden for their daughter Harlow. All the baby gifts were then donated to the Richie Madden Children’s Foundation.
Jennifer Garner
Garner and husband Ben Affleck decided to hold two baby showers when she was pregnant with her daughter Violet. One was strictly for charity and all the gifts and proceeds were donated to mothers in need. While the second included a purple theme completely dedicated to their baby. Awww!
Beyonce
Power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z had a huge bulk of baby gifts from their daughter Blue Ivy’s shower donated to a local charity for young mothers. Some of those gifts must have been really luxurious considering Oprah, P. Diddy, Mariah Carey, and Nick Cannon were just some of the guests at that shower!
