Heidi Klum__ may be a gorgeous supermodel, but she's also a superhero mom! On Sunday, the former Victoria's Secret Angel saved her 7-year-old son, Henry, from drowning after he was swept away by a large riptide, along with his two nannies. Heidi was on vacation with her four children, Leni, Henry, Johan, Lou, and boyfriend, Martin Kirsten, in Oahua, Hawaii for the Easter break. Talk about an intense family vacation!

"We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water," she told Us Weekly. "Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely."
Everything was going fine before the scary incident. Heidi had even posted a photo on Twitter of colorful Easter eggs on the beach with the caption, "Happy Easter," for an Easter hunt she had planned for the family. Aww! Everyone was having a great time until Henry and the two nannies suddenly got caught in a strong riptide. After Heidi spotted them, she immediately rushed in with her boyfriend to save them.
I can't even imagine how frightening that must have been for Heidi. Thank goodness she was able to spot them on time! She's also fortunate enough that her son is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back on his own, otherwise who knows what could have happened. It kind of makes you realize not only how important it is to keep a close eye on your kids, but also how important it is for children to know how to swim. It's definitely something any parent could easily overlook.
I'm just glad to hear that everyone is doing okay and she was able to quickly come to her son's rescue. Instead of panicking, she instantly rushed straight to their aid. Now that's what I call some serious mami instincts!
