7 Food-flavored beauty products that will make you sick to your stomach (PHOTOS)

Whenever I surprise my abuelita with beauty products (or anything for that matter) the first thing she does is stick her nose in it to see how it smells. I, on the other hand,am very, VERY sensitive to scents, so much so that I avoid products or fragrances that by any means resemble the smell of foods. For me, food-scented beauty productsliterally turn my stomach. I'm sorry, but they just don't lift my spirits the way a plate of rice and beans would.

But it looks like a lot of women out there don't seem to mind because beauty brands continue to create products with some of the grossest scents I've ever heard of, like French fries-flavored lip balm or a shampoo that smells like cinnamon buns. No thanks! I'd prefer unflavored beauty products any day. The last thing I want is to taste or smell like food! Check out a few of these not-so-appetizing food-scented beauty products below that will either make you happy or make you hurl (like me).

Bath & Body Works Liplicious Cotton Candy Lip Gloss ($8): To me, there’s absolutely nothing delicious or mouth-watering about having my lips smelling like cotton candy. And I’m pretty sure most guys wouldn’t appreciate tasting a super sticky sweet flavor every time they kiss you either.

Crème Brûlée

Laura Mercier Crème Brûlée Body Wash ($36): Crème Brûlée is literally one of my favorite deserts. With that said, it’s also one of the LAST things I want my body to smell like.

Cinnamon buns

Philosophy Cinnamon Buns Shampoo Shower Gel & Bubble Bath ($17): A shampoo that makes your hair smell like sugary cinnamon buns? I’m not really keen on the idea. I'd much rather smell like flowers. Just saying.

Avocado, Olive & Basil

Crabtree Evelyn Avocado Olive & Basil Revitalising Bath & Shower Gel   ($6): This sounds more like a salad dressing rather than a shower gel. Definitely makes me hungry for a Mediterranean dish–that’s for sure!

French fries

French Fry Lip Balm ($3): Okay, now that’s just gross! Just the thought of licking my lips every few minutes just to taste greasy fries is a total vomit-inducing experience.

Pizza

Pizza Hut Perfume Fragrance ($150): I’ve always been a big fan of Pizza Hut Super Supreme Pizza, but that certainly doesn’t’ mean I want to smell like it. Not to mention, an actual pie would easily cost me WAY less!

Beer

LUSH Cynthia Sylvia Stout Beer Shampoo ($10): Yes, I know beer can do wonders on your hair. Even so, I think I’d rather walk around with dry, brittle strands than hair that wreaks of alcohol any day of the week.

Bacon

J& D's Bacon Shaving Cream ($13):  As far as I'm concerned, smelling like greasy food is NEVER okay.
