I was in complete shock (and quite impressed) after see the amazing before-and-after photos that makeup artist Melissa Murphyposted on Instagram of the tons of porn stars she works with. These chicas looked like they haven't slept in years and let's be honest, considering their job they probably haven't. But even so, Murphy was able to instantly get them gorgeous with the help of a lot of makeup of course. And as any good Latina knows, there's no miracle that can't be worked with a little makeup!

This had me thinking about how most of us Latinas have practically mastered how to make ourselves look positively flawless with makeup. At a young age I saw my mom, abuelas, tías, and older cousins make all their imperfections vanish just by applying some eye makeup, foundation, and of course concealer. By fifteen I was already obsessed with face powder and mascara and knew how to cover all my pesky zits and blemishes. Seriously, you'd be surprised what a few tweaks here and there can do.
These stars really prove that with a little bit of makeup and a whole lot of skills anyone can look beautiful–their job none withstanding. Not to mention, it can make you feel great too. Check out a few of these impressive makeovers. I know these women are porn stars, but seriously, some lessons learned from these revealing pics included the magic of eye makeup, how concealer can make anyone look fresh and awake, and just in general the power of foundation. Yeah, any Latina could have told you that already.
