Imagine a dress that disappears the moment you get turned on–as in think something is sexy? No, I'm not talking about something straight out of a sci-fi flick, I'm referring to the new Intimacy 2.0 dress designed by Daan Roosegaarde.
I have to admit, I'm not exactly hating the idea. I mean it would certainly save some time, that's for sure (wink, wink). So, how exactly does it work?

This high-tech fashion project features leather and opaque "smart e-foils" that become transparent once the user becomes aroused. The smart fabrics become clear when electrified by a quickening heartbeat. You probably shouldn't hit the streets with this frock on because any kind of heart-thumping activity–like dancing, kissing or maybe even enjoying a delicious chocolate desert–can quickly cause your dress to disappear! The designer has won a number of awards for the futuristic dress, which is currently on display in China.
The dress is only as a prototype for a fashion line Roosegaarde is currently working on that include the same exact features, so clothes that respond whenever the wearer gets excited or embarrassed could be coming to a store near you soon!
I'm all about intimacy, so if a dress like this is going to get help couples get it on more, then hey, I don't see any harm in that, right?
