Many kids think of their dads as indestructible, but one amazingly devoted father recently went one step further in embracing his superhero side for the sake of his son. As can be seen in this super adorable photo, the obviously good-natured __dad actually donned a cape, right alongside his little boy w__hile on a recent trip to their local hardware store.

I just love seeing a father be so clearly dedicated to his kid. It takes a truly special and fun parent to do something like this! After all, though there are many great fathers out there, not all of them would be too willing to put on a cape and rock the superhero look with their kid—especially while running errands on an ordinary day. But this guy obviously had no qualms doing so, as long as it made his child happy. What an awesome dad!
And I'm not the only one who thinks so. The picture seemed to strike a chord with many Reddit users as well, because within two days, the post had garnered over 1 million comments! Not that I'm surprised…how can your heart not melt looking at this photo?
