Get ready to bust out some tissues because this story is sure to bring tears to your eyes. Latina army mom Veronica Velasquez, recently gave her 10-year-old daughter the surprise of a lifetime when she showed up at her school after being stationed away in Afghanistan for more than a year–and the entire emotional reunion was captured on tape!
Velasquez, a single mother of three, teamed up with her sister, her sister's boyfriend, and the teachers at a Los Angeles elementary school to plan the surprise … and it definitely paid off! As can be seen in the heartwarming video below, her daughter, Jamie Sanchez, lets out a cry of shock upon seeing her mother before running into her arms for a big hug. Both burst into tears as they embraced each other for the first time in months.
"I missed everything about her–her voice, seeing her face–every day," Sanchez told ABC News of her mother.

Aww … doesn't that just melt your heart? Watching the emotional video, I couldn't help but start tearing up myself. It must be so hard for both mom and daughter to be separated from each other, but I am so happy that they at least get to spend some precious quality time together now.
