12 Days of Christmas recipes: Traditional Puerto Rican pernil (VIDEO RECIPE)

Sing it with me: we wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year! Today is Christmas (yay!) and, I don't know about you, but I'm enjoying some good old fashioned good times with my family and their delicious cooking. 

Well, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without even more food and family fun. That's why we're starting a new series to keep the celebration going with the 12 days of Christmas recipes that will last from December 25, which is celebrated as the birth of Jesus Christ, to the Epiphany, which is celebrated on January 6 as the day that his glory was realized. We'll be bringing you traditional recipes that we Latinos love having around Christmas, starting with Puerto Rican pernil!
