Going through a breakup during the holiday season is the worst, but, as evidenced by a recent Reddit post, having a friendly and observant neighbor can make all the difference.
One male user who goes by the name Toonsis was feeling a little heartbroken after his girlfriend moved out of his apartment. That's when he noticed the letter under the door. "I saw you moving your girlfriend out yesterday," it read. "Sorry about that man. There are definitely other fish in the sea." And that's not all–the note also included a $50 bill which the neighbor suggesting "breaking into ones" and using at a strip club!
After seeing it, the man took a picture of the letter and the money and uploaded it to Reddit. "I woke up this morning feeling like sh*t. I saw this under my door and it made my day," he explained in the post. "I wanted to share it with people to show there ARE good people in the world."

Wow, I have to admit that is one nice neighbor! Not only to notice that he was going through a breakup in the first place, but also to try to cheer him up afterwards! I wish my own neighbors were as attentive. It was a sweet gesture to make, especially around the holiday season.
I'm still not too sure about the whole strip club thing (aren't there better ways to get over a breakup?), but, hey, it's the thought that counts, right?
