Sandy Hook shooting Facebook memorial page will move you to tears

In the wake of the recent Sandy Hook shooting, supporters of the victims have created a Facebook page honoring the lives of the children lost on that gruesome morning. The page, titled RIP Victims of Sandy Hook Elementary School already has upwards of 4,358 likes and is still growing. It is quite a spectacle to see as the page is flooded with messages in memory of the little victims of the massacre.

Taking a peek at the page is guaranteed to make you cry as the images, messages, obituaries, and eulogies are so heartbreaking to see. The most painful thing to take in are these children's smiling faces knowing that their loved ones will never get a chance to see them again.

Although I didn't lose someone in the Sandy Hook shooting, I along with the rest of the nation have mourned the deaths of all the innocent lives lost. Looking at the Facebook memorial page sent goosebumps up my spine as friends, family, and supporters all left wonderful messages for these souls no longer with us.

One picture in particular that brought a tear to my eye was a note written to Jack Pinto by his friend John. The note had a couple of pictures attached to the message which read that Jack was John's best friend and that he would talk to him in his prayers. How utterly heartbreaking!

Even sadder are the looks of despair on the victim's parents' faces at their funerals. If you scroll further down, Jessica Rekos mother wrote the most touching eulogy that most likely didn't leave a dry eye in the house.

All of these innocent souls were taken much too soon from this world, but as this Facebook page has shown, they will all live on in our memories. At least they are being remembered as happy kids who lived life to the fullest and loved their families very much. We recommend you view this special Facebook page in honor of those lost, but be prepared to shed some tears. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the victim's families and those affected by this awful tragedy.
