When it comes to beauty and fashion decisions, Christina Aguilera never ceases to surprise us. The girl has worked every crazy look you could imagine, from huge poofy fros to beaded braids–and she usually rocks them all. I thought I had seen it all, though, until I peeped her latest 'do: pink dip-dyed and blonde locks hanging loosely down her left shoulder with a strange half-braided thing on the right side of her head. The Voice judge debuted her uniquely bizarre hairstyle during a recent appearance on Extra.

Aguilera's eccentric beauty choice literally looked like something out of a science fiction movie. Seriously, can't you totally see Star Wars queen Padme rocking a braid like that? And like always, she didn't just limit her outrageously wild look to just her hairstyle. She paired it with a pair of colorfully spiked Christian Louboutin pumps (that I actually really liked) star spangle-bannered looking jeans, a leather vest, white T-shirt, dramatic blue smoky eyes, and a lipstick as pink as her ends.
I seriously got a headache just looking at her. Don't get me wrong, I love Christina Aguilera. I just haven't been feeling her style lately. The only thing I can say in favor of her freakish looking plaited hairdo, is that it definitely does make a statement. And statement-making is something my girl is great at!
