Amazing tattoo artist creates 3D nipples for breast cancer survivors

A tattoo artist is using his skills for a GREAT cause by helping breast cancer survivors feel complete again. The tattoo artist, 50-year-old Vinnie Myers of Maryland, gave up sketching body art on people and now has been tattooing 3D nipples on women who have lost their own due to mastectomies.

Meyers has been praised by doctors and patients alike for his generous work and had even perfected the three-dimensional nipple tattoo, making them look as real as the real thing. To think that this selfless artiest started tattooing when he was in the army sketching serpents on soldiers. Well, looks like he's come a long way since then!

I can't imagine how a breast cancer survivor must feel to realize that they no longer have their breasts. It must be so strange, especially since our breasts are one of the things that distinguish us from men and allow us to embrace our femininity. It's refreshing to see that a man respectfully wants to do something to make women feel better about themselves while helping them improve their appearance.

One of Myers' clients is Penny Kurek, who is a survivor of the disease and stuffed her bra for more than 8 years after her mastectomy. She finally decided that she wanted to look and feel like a woman again when she paid Myers a visit. Like Penny, more than 2,000 women before her have entered his tattoo parlor to visit the so-called "folk hero" of the breast cancer world.

As many hospitals are using tattoo artists to fill in the nipples women have lost due to their mastectomies, many of them still line up to visit the master designer in his parlor conveniently located in a local shopping center.

I love to hear about people like Myers who are doing good things for society and willing to help out those women who have gone through a lot by battling one of the worst diseases out there. I hope he can make an even bigger business out of this and wish him even greater success!
