I can admit that there are things I love about baby showers that include everything from the food to the games (as cheesy as they can get!), but I especially love to see the décor and the party favors. But, um, this baby shower favor idea I came across pretty much freaked me out. A poster on Reddit.com shared an image of a favor being given out at a baby shower his girlfriend attended and someone thought it would be a great idea to make confectionary chocolate in the mold of a realistic baby…ew!
If that isn't creepy, I don't know what is. You go to a baby shower to enjoy the food and festivities, not to eat babies! I almost think this is worse than the picture of that graphic baby cake Nicole Richie shared with us.
I wonder who thought that idea would sit well with their guests…unless their intention was to keep them from eating the chocolate. Maybe they should have stuck with something safe like those peanut shaped eggs that come wrapped in a mesh bag or cake pops! Everyone loves cakepops!

Needless to say…feeding your guests baby shaped food at your baby shower is disturbing and not cute (if cute was the message you were trying to get across). Although some of the comments Reddit users left on the image were pretty hilarious. My favorite: "Life begins at confection!" Ha!
