The other day I attended a1960s-themed birthday party, and I couldn't believe how extremely easy it was to find an outfit. It seems like 60s-inspired fashion is going to stick around for a while and we can certainly thank Mad Men for that! What I love the most about the fashion from this era is that it really showed off a woman's figure. The knee-length dresses and pencils skirts were so feminine and figure-flattering.
As conservative as this lady-like dress appears, I really loved the way it hugged my hips and showed off my curves. I made sure to throw on a belt to help accentuate my waist (which was also really popular in those times). From elegant dresses, brooches, and kitten heels, the 60s was one of the most sophisticated years in fashion. Check out a few of my favorite pieces below to bring a little 60s to your wardrobe!
