Get the perfect ballerina bun in 5 easy steps

I was pretty excited to discover that the Ralph Lauren Spring 2013 collectiontook a little inspiration from Spain and Latin America. The line was presented on Thursday during Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week in Lincoln Center and was quite different from what you normally expect from this designer. Filled with Latin flavor, the collection consisted of pieces from Mexican-looking serape blankets, gold embroidered matador jackets, vibrant red full-skirted dresses, and sensual embroidered black gowns. But underneath the polished berets or Spanish flat hats, were elegnant ballerina buns created by Redken Creative Consultant Guido. "This whole look had a Gaucho-inspired feeling, picture a very elegant Argentine woman," said the hairstylist. This classic, minimal style is super chic and easy to do. Check out Guido's 5 easy steps below to get the look at home!
