Hot Pink

Believe it or not, a pop of this bright pink color will give your complexion a nice wide-awake look. Apply the lipstick straight from the tube, starting from the outer corners and working your way towards the center of your lips. For fair skin try, Maybelline’s Super Stay 15 Lipstick in Eternal Rose. For medium, olive, or tan complexions, like J. Lo's, try a fuchsia shade like YSL Rouge Pur Couture in Fuchsia Innocent or new Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Sweetheart. Dark, deep complexions should go for Mary Kay Crème Lipstick in Hibiscus. (A tip: The darker your skin tone, the darker the pink should be.)
Burgundy

Burgundy and deep cherry lips are the hottest thing right now, just check out Camilla Belle's hot lip color. But if you think her look is way too Goth for you, tone it down with a softer wine or maroon shade instead. These colors look great on olive, tan or almond skin tones. Try Lancôme L’Absolu Nu Lipstick in Sherry Berry or Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lipcolor in Apocalypse if you have a deeper tone.
Nude

A nice nude color, like Camila Alves' in the picture, can make your pout look plump and natural. But not using the right formula can leave lips looking chalky and pale in color. Try opting for a creamy lipstick or sheer gloss like MAC Tinted Lipglass in Myth.
Bright Red

A bold red pout never goes out of style! Zoe Saldana's bright red looks super classic, feminine and sexy–but getting it right is critical to pulling off the look. Prime lips with a lip balm for smooth application. Then swipe on two coats for a nice bold pop. Blot with tissue paper or blotting paper. I like CoverGirl LipPerfection Lipcolor in Hot.
Coral

Bright coral lips literally work on all skin tones, so whether you have a fair or deep complexion, feel free to try a peachy coral or orangey red shade–we love the way Eva Mendes is rocking the look in this pic. I really like the vibrant melon tone in Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Muse.
