“Sexy & I Know It” is #1 workout song, here are 10 more songs to sweat to (VIDEOS)

Would you be surprised if I told you that LMFAO's "Sexy and I Know It" has been named the ultimate workout song by SCIENCE? Yes, really. I mean, the song is definitely motivating. Not only does it get you pumping to get sexy but they even mention working out throughout the song. It's no wonder that Self magazine felt the need to find out why exactly it's so motivating.

Let's be honest, though: there are plenty of other songs to sweat to. Some of my favorites are (duh!) by Latinos like Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez, the Black Eyed Peas and more. So if you're looking to scream "I'm sexy and I know it!", then check out our ultimate playlist of the 10 best Latin workout songs.

"Loca", Shakira

This is the song that I always HAVE to start my workout with. I don't know why, but the whole thought of going crazy just really gets my heart racing and gets me running. Now, if you know ANYTHING about me, then you knwo I hate running–but with the help of Shakira, I'm running like the wind! At least for 3 minutes, anyway.

"Danza Kuduro", Don Omar

Okay, seriously, is there a better dance song than this? Every single time it comes on my iPhone, I just start moving in my seat. In fact, even my parents love this song! Last time I was home, we had a dance party in the pool–and got a little bit of water aerobics in while moving out hips to Don Omar's infectious beat.

"Love You Like a Song", Selena Gomez

Admit it: everyone has that super crazy guilty pleasure song in their workout playlist and this is DEFINITELY mine. The "beep beep beep" just makes me bounce up and down, so I especially love to listen to this song when I'm doing crunches. Is it a little silly? Yes. But does it get me moving anyway? Absolutely!

"I Like It", Enrique Iglesias

I love this song in my workout playlist because it's just SUCH a sexy song. I mean, don't tell me you don't totally fantasize about Enrique when he says he likes the way you move on the floor. I pretty much use this song as motivation to get the hot body I've always wanted–with the shameless hope that one day Enrique will like it.

"Get Right", Jennifer Lopez

There are a few of JLo's hits that I like to keep on my playlist (another favorite: "Louboutins") but this is by far the best song to get moving. It's not really the lyrics that I love here as much as it's the music itself. I really love to do lunges to this song, because it helps to get me in the right repetitive rhythm for a good set.

"Culo", Pitbull

Well, Pitbull's entire repertoire can be described as workout music, seriously. I mean, is there a SINGLE one of his songs that you can't exercise to? My favorite, though, has to be this early hit where he describes a woman's very hot booty which I obviously listen to the entire time that I do any kind of butt-lifting workout.

"Pump It", Black Eyed Peas

Here's another group who has a pretty extensive "good to work out to" playlist. I think the reason why this song is a favorite of mine, though, is because all the LOUDER! shouting in the background makes me want to go harder. I love to play this in the middle of my workout when I'm starting to feel tired–and it gets me pumping again!

"Asereje", Las Ketchup

My uncle actually introduced me to this song when I was visiting him one summer. It's his favorite workout song and it quickly shot to the top of my list. I mean, all that bouncing! Doesn't this song just make you want to bounce? I like to include it as part of my interval training because it's easy (and fun) to run in place to this one.

"Rompe (Remix)", Daddy Yankee

The way that Daddy Yankee repeats "rompe" in this song at full speed makes it the PERFECT song to put at the end of your playlist, when you're feeling really tired and like you just can't keep going. It just really does the job to pump me up all over again in those last few minutes when I really didn't think I'd make it through.

"Conga", Gloria Estefan

Maybe it's because she's a fellow Cubana but I really love to close out my workout with this Gloria Estefan classic. Sure, it's an older song–but the beat is still as infectious as ever. Seriously, can YOU control yourself from shaking your body as she tells you to do the conga? Nope, I didn't think so.
