5 Latin low-calorie summer cocktails

When you're standing at your grill and making one of your favorite new dishes from the Mamás Latinas Ultimate Grill Guide, don't you get thirsty? I know I do! But as much as I enjoy my margarita and sangria, sometimes I want something a little bit lighter.

If I'm eating a big, juicy burger that's full of deliciousness and calories, occasionally I opt for a cocktail that's low in calories but still retain ALL of their flavor. These 5 Latin low-cal cocktails are absolutely perfect for any summer fiesta. Almost all of them are under 200 calories so go ahead and indulge!

Mangojito (197 calories)

Ingredients: 1 tablespoon fresh mint, plus more for garnish, 1 tablespoon agave nectar, 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice, 2 ounces mango nectar (such as Looza), 1½ ounces white rum, 1 cup ice, Club soda, Mango slice for garish

Directions: Muddle the mint leaves with the agave nectar in a cocktail shaker. Add the lime and mango juices, rum, and ice. Cover and shake well. Strain the mojito into a tall glass, and fill with club soda. Garnish with mint and a slice of ripe mango, if desired.

Sangria Sparkler (100 calories)

Ingredients: 750-milliliter bottle dry red wine,1 cup light orange juice, 1/4 cup brandy or cognac, 1/4 cup orange liqueur, 2 tablespoons sugar, 2 medium oranges, sliced, 2 cups club soda, chilled , Crushed ice and/or orange peel curls (optional)

Directions: In a large pitcher, combine wine, orange juice, brandy, orange liqueur, sugar, and orange slices. Chill at least 2 hours. Add club soda before serving. Serve over crushed ice and/or with orange peel curls, if desired.

Farmer's Market Margarita (99 calories)

Ingredients: 1.25 oz. Corzo Silver, 2 sprigs of fresh cilantro, 4 slices of fresh cucumber, 2 slices of fresh jalapeno, 1 oz. fresh lime juice, 2 oz. distilled water, 2 packets of Splenda or similar

Directions: Add all the ingredients in a mixing glass with ice, shake and serve over the rocks in an 8 oz. glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Ingredients: 1 ounce freshly-squeezed lime juice, 2 ounces cachaça, 1/2 ounce agave nectar, 2 ounces purée of tropical fruit, such as blended papaya and pineapple, 1 ounce or more soda water, to taste, Lime wheel, for garnish

Directions: In a mixing glass filled with ice, combine all ingredients except soda. Shake vigorously. Strain into an ice-filled highball glass and top with soda. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Ingredients: Coarse salt, (optional), 4 ounces tequila, divided, 2 ounces orange-flavored liqueur, such as Cointreau, divided, 3 cups grapefruit juice, divided, 4 grapefruit slices, for garnish

Directions: Wet the rims of 4 glasses and coat with coarse salt (if desired); fill the glasses with ice. Pour 1 ounce tequila and 1/2 ounce liqueur into each. Top each with 3/4 cup grapefruit juice and stir. Garnish with a slice of grapefruit.
