The only thing I miss about having short hair is braids! When my hair was longer, it was always in braids. One braid, french braid, pigtail braids, front-plait braids–the only one I never really managed to figure out was the fish-tail, so if you have any tips chicas, please leave them in the comments below.
Braids are always in vogue, so it's definitely a trend worth mastering. Sometimes they go front and center like they did when Salma Hayek recently rocked a side-braid to the Vanity Fair Oscar party and other times they fly below the radar. But they will always be a great standby hairdo to rescue you from a bad hair day, add texture when your locks are falling flat or just keep your hair out of your face when you don't want to opt for a boring old ponytail (though I'm not hating on the pony, it's a standby).
