Finding out that someone you are dating has kids is a deal breaker for some people. For others, their partner having children from previous relationships becomes a blessing. Although the model revealed in her book Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life that the news made her feel like her "world had been turned upside down," she's grateful that she stuck around and that now his son, Jack, is such a huge part of her life. She also opened up to People about her relationship with Tom's ex Bridget Moynahan."I'm so grateful for [Bridget]. I know this was hard, but I couldn't imagine my life without [Jack]. I call him my bonus child," she said. "He opened my heart in ways I didn't even know my heart could expand."
