Recall alert! Children's water bottle could pose DANGEROUS hazard!

I never noticed how many recalls there are for kids products until I had children of my own. Now I'm always on the lookout. For example, I just found out that about 242,000 Brita children's water filter bottles have been recalled after the company received complaints about lids breaking or cracking. What makes these breaks or cracks so dangerous is that the lids can end up with sharp points that can pierce or cut a child.

Please read on to find out more about the recall and what you can do to keep the kiddies in your life safe.

Thank goodness that although there have been reports of 35 lids breaking or cracking, there have been no reported injuries thus far. Here's what you need to know about the recall:

I hope this information helps. What's kind of pointless is the info that was on the removable plastic wrap at the time of purchase of the bottles. How many parents keep that stuff? I know I don't, so if you have a bottle that meets these descriptions, but you don't know or remember what the heck the wrap said, then I say better safe than sorry. Get in touch with Brita.
