A Massachusetts couple and their doctors were left stunned after the woman gave birth to an unexpectedly HUGE baby on Wednesday.
CarolineandBryan Ruscak had expected to welcome a big baby as their first daughter was born at 10.5 pounds. But they never thought that their second child, daughter Carisa Ruscak, would end up tipping the scales at a whopping 14.5 pounds. Whoa, that's one big baby girl!

Ruscak gave birth to her not-so-little girl via C-section. "When she came out at 14 and a half pounds, I couldn't believe it," dad Bryan Ruscak told WCVB. "I took a picture of the scale just to document it because I couldn't believe how big she was." I don't blame him. I would've been shocked too!
And they weren't the only ones left surprised. Doctors say she is the biggest infant to be delivered at Massachusetts General Hospital in 12 years! WOW!
Both mom and baby are now thankfully doing just fine.
C-section or not, that's a whole lot of baby! I have to give this mom some credit though, especially considering this is the second big newborn she's given birth to. Congrats to the parents on their new bundle of joy!
