Wow! I just found out about Baby Bangs! This ridiculous product is designed for baby girls who are born with very little or no hair. It's a wig for baby girls! Why would baby girls need a wig? Because their insecure parents can't handle when someone mistakes their girl for a boy. Seriously?!
Babies are beautiful just as they are. Little girls do not need to be thrust into the world of "you are not good enough as is" at such a young age. I mean come on!

The whole thing is so absurd, it reminds me of a Saturday Night Live skit called Baby Toupee, which is hilarious, but only because it is a total joke.
In the skit, male babies with "infantile baldness" will no longer have to suffer public humiliation because they can now cover their baldness with a baby toupee. It's so funny you have to watch the video below.
What's not funny is that a ridiculously similar product for baby girls is actually out on the market. It's REAL and it's NOT okay. I know there are worse evils out in the world than a baby wig, but I think we should just let babies be babies without worrying about whether they look like a boy or a girl at such a young age. They are babies! They are supposed to look like cuddly blobs of miniature humanness of undiscernable gender. If you have issues with your own hair, then you wear a wig, leave that precious baby head alone and just enjoy how wonderful it smells. Nothing is better than new baby smell.
