Tristan Thompson, aka the father of both of Khloé Kardashian's kids, turned 32 on March 13. His mother, Andrea Thompson, died of a heart attack in early January. To put things in context, that means this is the first year that the NBA player celebrated his birthday since his mother's death. We're sure it could not have been easy for him, and perhaps that's why his ex Khloé felt compelled to share a tribute to him on Instagram that includes pictures of him with their two kids for the first time. The former couple are parents to True and a baby boy whose name has not been revealed yet.

In the tribute, the Good American founder writes some very kind words about Tristan. This is mighty big of her, considering that he has not always treated her well and has let her down time and time again. Still, he is the father of her children, and she has always been very supportive of him. She even flew to Toronto to be there for him when his mother died.
